Entrance Hall

Arrived to stay. This feeling sets in as soon as you have walked across the large inner courtyard past fragrant roses and lavender and opened the red entrance gate of the south wing.

The entrance area welcomes you with a generosity that corresponds to the spaciousness of the entire south wing. As in the other rooms, the old oak plank floor creates a special feel-good atmosphere. The walls are decorated with Little Green wallpaper and colors to match. The spacious sofa is not only practical for taking off your shoes, it also invites you to linger. A successful start that makes you want to discover the other rooms, some of which lead off the centrally located entrance area.

The Kitchen

Do you dream of going shopping in the Dordogne markets and then trying delicious new recipes? The bright, friendly kitchen of the south wing, bathed in a warm light by the afternoon sun, will offer you ample opportunity to do so. Equipped with a large refrigerator, a 5-burner Smeg stove and an oven, the 20 square meter room is a dream come true for amateur cooks. The wallpaper with a swallow motif is an eye-catcher: it adorns the ceiling of the room and is coordinated with the blue color scheme of the kitchen cabinets.

The Dining Room

On cooler days and evenings, meals are taken at the large oak table in the dining room, which can comfortably seat up to 8 people. A large fireplace ensures comfort in the cold months of the year. In summer, the doors to the veranda are wide open while a pleasantly cool breeze blows through the room.

The Terrace

The Veranda of the south wing is a place to pause, where you can greet the morning sun and enjoy the tranquility and seclusion at any time of the day. It goes generously into the garden and can be entered from both the dining room and the living room. Equipped with table, chairs and comfortable loungers, the veranda becomes an outdoor living room. From here you look at a large evergreen magnolia and then over the rolling green hills to the edge of the forest. The perfect place to eat, enjoy and relax!

The bedrooms and the bathrooms

A door leads from the salon into the master bedroom, which is decorated in green and pink tones and has an enchanting wallpaper by the English company Little Greene. Equipped with a 1.80 x 2 meter bed and a single day bed, three people can sleep comfortably here. But it’s not just the lovely furnishings, the view from the window is a treat for the heart and soul: the view sweeps across the hillside meadow to the edge of the forest.

The large bathroom is connected to the master bedroom through a door and can be reached from the hallway. Attention to detail is evident in the design. The crystal chandelier, the antique fireplace and the two newly installed retro column washbasins provide a nostalgic and homely flair. The spacious shower and the light gray metro tiles stand for modern comfort.

The second bedroom is at the back of the south wing. The 1.80 x 2 meter bed with feather beds was individually made according to our designs with a Viennese wicker headboard. Très francais is the white and pink Toile de Jouy fabric upholstery on the back of the bed. Together with the lightly lacquered furniture, a pleasant lightness and relaxing atmosphere is created.

The second bedroom has a small bathroom with a shower tray. The color scheme in soft tones and an enchanting wallpaper by Osborne & Little with fish motifs make this room a very special piece of jewellery.

A wonderful retreat, the third bedroom feels like a small world unto itself. The tower room can be reached via a long hallway that branches off from the kitchen in the south wing. The white and blue color scheme of the room and wallpaper with flowers and bird motifs by the English company Little Greene give the bedroom a pleasant lightness.

A special highlight is the en-suite bathroom, which is hidden behind two large cabinet doors. The newly installed shower is tiled with white Metro tiles and brings modern comfort to the nostalgic bathroom.

The small bay window of the tower room is adorned with a blue desk, which is quickly chosen as a favorite spot. It invites you to work or write your emails. Above all, however, this place gives you inspiring thoughts while you listen to the chirping of birds with the window open and let your gaze wander over the meadows to the edge of the forest.
